My client is a global leader in the provision of management software and hardware based in Limerick and is looking for a dynamic candidate who is interested in joining an experienced team in delivering projects. You will be working with the company‘s flagship specifically designed ERP software platform managing all elements of the resource recovery process. Responsibilities include: Perform Data Migration tasks to client software from customer databases. Configure Software to Customer Requirements. Provide customer software product support and respond to requests from the customer base. Support Project Managers in the field for all project requirements including specification development to customer requirements. Prepare end user and technical user documentation for environmental products. Attend customer sites for installations, training, project go lives & review meetings while always providing a high level of customer service. Perform detailed analysis of customer issues and, where required, work closely with the Development team in root cause analysis. Capturing of customer requirements to feed into the Development Roadmap. The ability to investigate queries, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical queries. The successful candidate will have: Experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle SQL development, including stored procedure creation, query tuning and report deployment. Deployment of web applications to Microsoft IIS servers. First-hand experience of data migration techniques and methodologies. Knowledge & experience of SSRS, SSIS and SSAS an advantage. Knowledge & experience of mobile communications software an advantage. Project experience – working as part of a project team, adhering to project plans & timelines, performing project tasks & reporting. Experience in a customer facing role is essential. Proven ability to work on own initiative. Degree in computer science or equivalent. Project management certification would be bonus. Support experience – responding to customer calls & requests. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal. Practical experience in relation to databases, Microsoft SQL server, managing hosted solution and web services.
