The Product Manager is responsible for providing focus, guidance and long-term brand vision for the business unit and their products. Position : Product Manager (Peripheral Intervention. Reporting to : Global Product Manager/Team Leader – Peripheral Intervention. Responsibilities: Tracks financial performance of product to achieve revenue objectives through use of analysis of issues and product action plans. Manages the quarterly product forecast and inventory analysis. Manages execution of specific channel plans that are consistent with product messaging strategies. Interfaces with Physicians and Development personnel to identify needs and to obtain feedback on concepts and performance of new or existing devices. Identifies best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities. Maintains worldwide market expertise through utilization of competitor product knowledge and strategies, market trends and dynamics, critical market success factors and customer needs. Participates in industry exhibitions, workshops and global meetings. Develops Sales and Physician Educational Program as well as educational materials for customers, representatives and distributors. Creates packaging, labelling and pricing for assigned products. Develops strategies for new product launches, training materials and product enhancements through interaction with Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Regulatory Affairs. Tracks business performance towards meeting objectives and forecasts and formulates new approaches and strategies as needed. Attends and leads various strategic and informational meetings. Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf. Qualifications: Third level qualification to Degree level in related field &/or relevant work experience advantageous. Microsoft Excel, Word and Access experience. Previous Product Management experience preferred. Medical Device experience preferred. Requirements: Availability and willingness to travel on company business. Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others to achieve company goals. Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a global organization. Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision. Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.
