A Continuous Integration Engineer is required by a cutting edge development centre based in Limerick. At this centre they develop, design and deliver high quality business applications, software solutions and services to meet ongoing business technology requirements. The offices are newly designed, specifically to accommodate Scrum development. It is an open and highly collaborative environment based on LEAN principles with a strong emphasis on continuous integration, automated testing and continuous delivery. Scrum teams are encouraged to be self-organising and autonomous. The Continuous Integration Engineer will be responsible for: - Automation and Continuous X development of ERP systems across brands and software delivery channels. - Developing automation while being a part of an Agile Scrum team. - Supporting and extending Continuous Integration Automation environment. The Continuous Integration Engineer requires: - BSc. or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. - A basic understanding of agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban. - Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing) and ERP SAP. - 5 years' experience developing with main-stream language: Python, Java, VBScript, C or C# - Development using TDD/BDD techniques creating Unit tests, Functional, SIT, Regression testing. - Keyword Driven Automation frameworks. - Solid understanding of OOP. Solving problems efficiently and quickly. - Exposure to Continuous Integration, Agile methodology, Development within Frameworks. - Some experience working with following tools: Jenkins, HP UFT, Jira, Git, Amazon VPCx (Cloud services), DB Management (SQL based), Selenium. - Experience working with multiple OS: Windows, Linux, iOS.
