In this role, you will be responsible for the growth and success of both professional and productized services within the company. You will work closely with Senior Management, Sales, Marketing and Product Management to enhance the company’s current service offerings, identify opportunities for new services and drive sales of these service offerings. Day-to-day Responsibilities: Define go to market strategies for Services and roll out of these strategies through the Sales team. Work with regional sales teams to understand services pipeline and define activities to develop a pipeline. Forecast sales target for services and work with sales team to ensure they are met. Track and record services opportunities and activity to help close deals and meet targets. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators for services. Work with Product Management to enhance service offerings based on Customer/Channel feedback in line with Product direction. Identify opportunities for campaigns, promotions, different channels and new services that will lead to an increase in sales. Work with web and marketing team to ensure that all content and positioning around services are up to date and fully integrated into core product content. Work with marketing team to ensure that services are presented at the appropriate times to all inbound leads. Work with inbound marketing team on any content that would increase inbound leads. Co-manage launch of new services. Work with Strategic Alliances team to identify opportunities for business development around services with our Strategic Alliance partners. Requirements: 5+ years in a Business Development or Product Line Management (PLM) role. Service delivery or service sales experience is highly desirable. Experience in sales planning. History of meeting sales goals. Solid understanding of channel sales model. Ability to work in a cross-functional role to understand and influence others. Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, “start-up” type environment. Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills. Comfort creating high quality and compelling content.
