Our client based in Boston, USA are looking for an experienced Product Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in America. They will cover all costs associated with relocation, Visa (including family) etc. Our client designs, develops, manufactures, and sells advanced solutions to the optical transport and network infrastructure. Their products incorporate sophisticated signal processing and photonic integration for the 100G, 400G and 1T bit speed fiber optic transmission market deployed in data center, metro, long-haul and ultra-long haul telecommunication networks. Job Description. The ProductEngineerwill collaborate closely with the design engineering team on new product introduction, and with key suppliers and contract manufacturers on sustaining engineering and cost reduction, to expedite time to market and revenue ramp of high bit rate optical transponders. Key Essential Functions: Lead yield improvement, manufacturing cycle time reduction and product cost reduction. Analyze and correlate performance of key parameters spanning device to sub-system levels to optimize in-process and final test specifications and test coverage. Create product trouble-shooting guides. Support failure analysis, root cause identification and corrective action implementation of components, sub-systems and field failures. Implement and monitor product SPC. Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Education and Certifications: BS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or other relevant major. In-depth knowledge of analog and digital electronics, RF, and optical communication circuits and components. Superior problem solving skills. Strong statistical data analysis skills.
