AXAP18317-Country Accountant. This position supports the AXA-CLP Financial Europe Controllership Team in providing timely and accurate monthly financial information and ensuring strong overall financial controls. Initially the country (ies) assigned to support will be France, but this may vary. Support controller in monthly, quarterly and yearly financial accounting under US GAAP, UK GAAP and Local GAAP; Responsible for payments/reporting are done on a timely manner, including but not limited to: o All clients and Reinsurance reporting, reconciliations and payments are done on a timely manner; o Execution, completion and payment, in a timely manner, of all local Taxes and Regulatory submissions, such as Corporate Tax, Insurance Premium Tax, VAT, CVAE, Organic Tax, etc.; o The above needs to be in accordance with contracts and internal rules; Preparation of Balance Sheet analysis, P&L reporting, Ageing, Cash flow forecasting and support budgeting; Execute account reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis under Group criteria’s; Support Internal and External Audits; Participate, as required, in other controllership related projects/countries and tasks as directed; This list is not exhaustive, additional duties can be requested. Skills. Educated to degree level with full qualification in Accounting. Minimum 4/5 years accounting experience in similar positions. High Accounting knowledge (insurance knowledge highly desired. Proficient with financial spreadsheet packages (e.g. Excel. Fluent in English (French highly desired. Oracle/SAP Skills are a plus. Valid European visa or working permit. Team Player. Excellent planning and analytical skills. Highly self-motivated and organized with attention to detail. Resilient to stress. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good communicator.
