Based in the mid-west of Ireland, this role manages multiple (10+) sites within the area, with specific responsibility for food quality and innovation throughout the company, and actively seeks and identifies opportunities for business growth within existing contracts and the external market. Key activities will include (but are not limited to): Cost control and achievement of GP targets with accurate and timely completion of financial documentation. Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and quality are achieved and maintained. Monitoring and compliance of all health & safety standards (ie H&S, HACCP, ISO. Liaising effectively with the client, customers, employees and other relevant stakeholders. Staffing levels and recruitment. Monitoring and managing employee performance. Training, coaching and mentoring teams to deliver an exceptional food and service standard. Complying with and implementing all company policies and procedures. Representing the company to the best of your ability on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be an experienced Area Catering Manager (or equivalent role) with a proven track record of effective multi-site management. Must be passionate about quality food and service and able to inspire others to achieve excellence in both. High degree of financial acumen required in addition to top customer service skills. This role reports to the General Manager and Senior Regional Operations Manager. Candidates must possess a full, clean driver’s licence and own transport.
