Good Counsel Nursing Home are looking for a cook for a fixed term contact, which may lead to a permanent role. For this position we are seeking those with previous experience. The nursing home is based on the outskirts of Limerick city approx 0.50km off the Childers road on the Kilmallock / Ballyneety road. The ideal candidate: Will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen enviroment, and a good understanding of the workings of a professional kitchen. Have an understanding of allergens, special diets and textured foods and fluids. Requirements: HACCP is desired. Follow instructions of the unit manager & head chef. Clean kitchen environment throughout and after service. Must be available to work between the hours 8.30am and 6.30pm. Must be availbale to work every second weekend including bank holidays. Previous Experience working as either a chef or cook in Ireland isof benefit.
