Maintenance Technician. Co Limerick. Permanent. Role: I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to provide technical support for a production facility in Co. Limerick and perform various maintenance tasks e.g. machines maintenance, repair, fault finding, troubleshooting, continuous process improvement, implementing preventative maintenance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all factory equipment is maintained in accordance with required maintenance standards. The successful candidate will be proficient in all aspects of industrial maintenance which includes mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, automation and controls. This role will provide great development opportunities for an adaptable and flexible person. Responsibilities: To perform this role successfully, the Maintenance Terchnician will be expected to demonstrate the following ccompetencies: * Equipment fault finding and trouble shooting. * Ability to analyse and establish main dominant causes of equipment failures and provide solution to resolve them. * Ensure all maintenance checklists are updated on the regular basis. * Vacuum pumps service and repair. * Carry out PM tasks according to Maintenance department planned Schedule. * Mentor production personnel, providing technical advice and support in order to achieve maximum machine performance. * Promote safe work practices. * Spare parts identification. * Liaise with production staff in order to improve line yields and overall quality of products. * Dependability. * Ability to work under pressure to achieve pre-set goals. * Adhere and promote quality service with both internal and external customers. * Teamwork. Requirements. Diploma/trade qualification in engineering field. Good communication and influencing skills are essential. Ability to work under own initiative. 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance environment preferably within food industry would be an advantage.
