Digital Design Engineer required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Limerick client. REQUIREMENTS: * Digital Design Skills. * Capable to execute all aspects of digital development including RTL design, DFT, verification, synthesis, and assist in physical design including LVS and DRC debugging. * Ability to do all synthesis activities including constraint development, DFT insertion, synthesis, timing closure, and formal verification. * Familiar with entire physical design flow from floorplanning to GDS. * Develop synthesis constraints and identify limitations to feedback to RTL design changes. * Collaborate with test engineers to define and implement DFT to support production test. * Design Experiences. * Have good understanding on the trade off of digital implementation options to reduce the tape-out risks and increase the chance for silicon sampling. * Pursue efficient execution and first-pass success through a focus on design reuse. * Work closely with system architects, systems and firmware engineers (contractors in Shanghai), analog designers, test engineers, and other digital designers to deliver solutions to mixed analog and digital integration. * Collaborate with system architects, algorithm developers, and analog designers to define innovative digital functions such as asynchronous logic and state machines. * Solid experience in designing SOC solutions with using embedded MCU, SRAM and NVM memories around industry standard bus architectures. * Understand the trade-off of using software vs. using state machine logic. * Verification. * Experience with coverage driven verification methodologies including UVM and AMS. * Perform thorough verification planning and execute firmware-based verification. * Embedded MCU. * Embedded Processor design experience is essential. * Ability to write embedded software and firmware to address architectural and simulation needs. * C/C , Perl (or Python) Programming Languages. * Also familiar with SDCC, IAR or Keil Tool software development tool chain.
