Sigmar are working with a medical device company in Limerick who are recruiting a data analyst/scientist on a 12 month contract. You would be supporting advanced analytical activities onsite. You would be gathering, processing and analysing complex data from different sources using advanced statistical modeling methods & driving project execution by defining & implementing common BI and analytics processes. Experience needed: 2 years experience solving analytical problems using machine learning and/or statistics. Experience in data analysis, statistical principles, data mining & algorithm development. Comfortable manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources is required. Expert knowledge of at least one analysis tool is required (R, Python, Matlab or SAS. Experience working with Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive etc. Experience working with data visualisation tools - Qlik, Tableau.
