IT Technical Support Specialist: German or French. Under the direction of the Integration and Service Manager, the Technical Support Specialist will manage customer calls and will perform service calls follow-ups engaging our customer’s at all times keeping stakeholders informed until issues are resolved. RESPONSIBILITIES. Professional handling of every service request. Telephone and email support. Perform customers’ requests management while maintaining support quotas. Understand and assess customer-reported issues to determine prioritisation. Serve as an internal knowledge resource for other members of the organisation. Analyse and validate issues. Act as liaison between customers and internal resources. Manage and ensure documentation of service calls are completed. Contribute to technical support processes. Service call project management. Sales and quotations. On-site Service. Work with a 24/7 Global Technical support team. Performing a follow-up of the pieces used during the integration of the repair of systems. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS. Must hold a 3rd Level Qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics ,Computer Science. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within a Field Service Technical role. Fluency in German or French languages (as well as English) essential. Good written and spoken English language skills for those representatives for whom English is not the mother language. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Willingness and availability to travel on company business if required. SKILLS. Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff. Highly organised, flexible to frequently changing customer demands, Detail oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. Act as liaison between customers and internal resources. Strong Computer skills – Competency with MS Office suite. XML experience and active directory essential.
