An exciting opportunity has arisen within a multinational company in Limerick for an experienced Project Engineer to join the team. This is a permanent role offering an attractive salary package and great benefits. Responsibilities. Support the End to End Project Manager in defining the project team, project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Build the investment project charter and see to it that it is strictly followed throughout the project. Lead the team and coordinate the contribution of all the stakeholders, to get the engineering side of the project implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) Lead the team in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, the URS and the characteristics of a unit operation, all the elements of the project (including technical people training, as needed. Coordinate efforts with the start-up manager and her/his team, to assure a smooth transition to operations, after the qualification and the verification of the installation have been finalized. Prepare and distribute the project documentation of engineering, including the engineering part of the project final report and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System. Assure that the investment project charter has been fulfilled. Be the engineering project team leader, meaning integrating, motivating, feed backing, coaching, developing, managing and evaluating team members and being their support and liaison with the steering committee and all the project`s stakeholders. Keep the End to End Project Manager informed. Keep all the required communication channels open. Experience and Education. Degree/Diploma in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar. 5 years’ experience in an international project environment context within which, projects were defined and budgeted, assessed and implemented (entire project lifecycle. People development and management tools (including PDG, coaching, competences training, career and succession planning, recruitment and development.
