What you need to know. You will work as a Financial Control Accountant for our client, an investment bank company in Limerick. Working as a Financial Control Accountant a leading provider of investment management, asset and fund administration, fiduciary and banking solutions for corporations, institutions and affluent individuals worldwide. This is a 11 month contract job initially. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Complete the daily accounting, administration and oversight to support the financial accounts production process for a number of legal entities. Complete the production of the monthly management accounts for a number of legal entities, produce the reconciliations and ensure all documentation and accounting is completed in line with corporate requirements and policies. Produce month end analytics and trend data to assist with the review and validation of financial results. Complete the annual statutory accounts and reporting for a number of legal entities, act as point of contact for external audit, provide inputs and information to the audit process and work with the auditors to complete the audit process and finalise the statutory accounts. What are we looking for? Desirable: Qualified Accountant with at least 4 years PQE in a similar role - Financial Services. background is beneficial but not critical. Experienced background in a corporate financial control environment with a sound knowledge of accounting, reporting and financial control requirements as well as statutory and audit requirements. Experience of US GAAP or IFRS would be an advantage but is not essential. Ability to work as part of a team in the region and as part of the broader EMEA Finance team. Strong planning and organisational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
