VP of Technology- Limerick. Job Overview: FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a senior appointment for an innovative and energetic tech leader with our long term client, a leading multinational in Limerick. This VP of Technology role will be responsible for leading and delivering all aspects of our client's technology strategy globally. While focused on delivery and implementation, the role will also help set the technology strategy and architecture for the company. The candidate will be multi-skilled, with a proven track record of leading high performing teams in Software Development, QA, Infrastructure and IT Support. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Essential qualifications and Skills: Degree in computer science or equivalent. Track record of developing and leading technology teams. Ability to set IT Strategy in line with product strategy. IT project management expertise. Track record of successfully delivering enterprise solutions. Ideally this person would be well versed in the Microsoft technology stack, .Net, MS SQL C# etc. Knowledge of LAMP, Open Source. Well versed in SDLC , agile methodology and continuous integration, continuous deployment and test driven development. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
