Sigmar's fund accounting client are looking to hire afund accounting manager to manage their overall NAV calculation process. You will ensure the delivery of NAV Calculations and will assist in developing client relationships. An expert knowledge of the service requirements for hedge fund admin is required. Main responsabilities: Supervisory role in the performance of Fund Accounting related activities. Evaluates and reconciles complex funds including mutual, commingled, and collective for production. of client month-end reports or for daily valuation. Verifies complex transactions, audits income reports. within scheduled timeframes and resolves exceptions on a daily basis for fund accounts. Experience needed for this role: 5 years experience in a fund admin firm with at least 3 years at a supervisor level. Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree. Min. 2.2 honors degre. Candidates from a PM or Consultancy role will also be considered. Computer Skills - Excellent PC skills especially MS Excel, Word etc. Working knowledge of Sungard’s Invest One Enterprise Fund Accounting system would be beneficial. Industry Knowledge - Knowledge of financial instruments, Valuations business & Central Bank regulations a must.
