The Director, Customer Support & Delivery - EMEA will be responsible for leading all distribution centres and customer service teams throughout the EMEA region with emphasis on customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer experience. The Director, Customer Support & Delivery - EMEA is responsible for leading all distribution centres and customer service teams throughout the EMEA region with emphasis on customer satisfaction while enhancing the customer experience. Achieving goals and objectives set out within all facets of the role. Responsibilities: Ensure efficient and effective management of the distribution centres and the customer support teams across the EMEA region. Implement short and long term improvements/operational plans for distribution centres and the customer service teams. Implement strategic projects to increase growth and profitability in line with corporate objectives. Lead and develop a large and diverse team across multiple countries. Collaborate with Distribution Centre managers on stock control and process flows within supply chain. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (regionally and globally) such as, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Finance and the Divisions when setting up or changing the flow of product within the region. Represent the business in gathering the requirements for the development of IT systems controlling the supply chain. Oversee perpetual and annual stock takes. Ensure the receipt, storage and dispatch of all finished goods and materials are handled through distribution centres in an efficient manner. Provide periodic reports regarding stock movements and valuations. Conduct performance reviews and wage reviews. Identify training and/or development needs within the department and ensure the necessary training or re-training is conducted as soon as practicable. Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of individual differences. Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization. Must maintain company quality and quantity standards. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision. Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations. Willingness and availability to travel on company business. Ensure that Cook's Code of Conduct is considered with in all business matters carried out on Cook's behalf. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field, preferably Business Management, desired. Minimum 5 years experience with degree or demonstrated over 10 years experience without degree in Supply Chain. 10 years in related industry experience. 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience in a management position leading a team is essential. Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office is a prerequisite. This job originally appeared on RecruitIreland.com.
