HR MANAGER, FOOD RETAIL STORE LIMERICK. An exciting opportunity has become available for a HR Manager to join the team of a large food retail chain in Limerick. Primarily you will offer proactive human resource support to the growing team in this in line with the HR strategy and business objectives. You will also conduct induction, training and staff support whilst managing the operations of the cash office. The role: Lead and be active in HR related projects e.g. induction, performance management, talent management. Build effective relationships, providing leaders, managers and associates with professional, proactive support and coaching on people management issues. Advise managers and associates on statutory compliance and HR best practice e.g. disciplinary, grievance, maternity etc. Contribute to the design and delivery of HR implementation plans with a special focus on employee engagement. Knowledge of health and safety workplace standards is essential as they will assist the senior team with safety issues, accidents and training. Manage the cash office procedures on a daily basis. The Candidate: Bachelor's Degree in a HR or relevant subject. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings if necessary. Demonstrated experience as a HR Generalist / Manager. Excellent inter-personal skills and natural ability to influence stakeholders. Excellent people skills and a genuine interest in the employees well-being. CIPD certified preferred.
