A Supply Chain Lead is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Limerick based client. This is a new role in a recent start up technology company and will suit an ambitious supply chain professional with a proven track record in process improvement in the areas of logistics and warehousing. Manufacturing and start up experience would be a plus. Previous people management experience is also key. THE ROLE: * Oversee and coordinate the daily Supply Chain activities with complete ownership for our Logistics, Warehousing and Procurement functions, providing hands-on leadership to meet organizational goals. * A member of the EMEA Leadership team you will implement process improvement programs across the Supply Chain organisation yielding gains in quality and productivity while ensuring KPI's are met. * Managing all Supply Chain functions -Logistics, Warehouse & Procurement Teams. * Achieve high levels of material control and process flow. * Measure and report the effectiveness of Supply Chain activities and employees performance. REQUIREMENTS: * BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline. * Proven track record working as a Supply Chain Supervisor within a manufacturing environment. * Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques. * Knowledge of warehouse & Supply Chain software packages, ideally SAP and MS Office proficiency. * Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data. * Hands-on commitment to reaching targets.
