THE ROLE: You will be responsible for , monitoring and driving achievable production schedules. Responsibility for management and supply of all inventory parts and ensuring availability of materials in line with planned requirements. You will also play a key role in new product introductions (NPI. You will work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, Marketing, as required. Maintain accurate item master data e.g. lead times, batch size, safety stock target, etc. to ensure 100% system data accuracy at all times. Expedite or de-expedite product as required, ensuring material availability at all times. Ensure and maintain realistic dates on PO's. Generate and present reports and metrics as appropriate e.g. backorder reports. REQUIREMENTS: 3rd level qualification in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, IPICS or other equivalent is preferred. 3 years Buying/Planning experience in an MRP environment with excellent PC system skills. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. THE FIT/OPPORTUNITY.
