A Senior IT Business Analyst is required for a busy pharmaceutical company based in Limerick. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent salary and benefits and the chance to join an industry leading team. Summary. Responsible for understanding complex business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements and coordinating communication among various business groups and IT. The incumbent will partner with technical teams in the solution definition, planning and evaluating of Information Technology projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Will work closely with IT management and the clients to identify and specify business requirements and processes in diverse development platforms, computing environments. Work with a diverse business community to document as-is and to-be business processes; Document clear and testable requirements which describe a system to be implemented; Collaborate in the creation, review and approval of validation documents. Recommend business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes. Provide industry best practices and support the change management process. Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple or large-scale projects. Continually seeks and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships; Possess a knowledge base of the business, organization and objectives; Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application for the business. Education and Experience: BS/BA in related field and minimum of 6 years relevant experience support technology projects and implementations. Experience in a Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Devices or Research environment preferred. Experience in gathering requirements and business analysis across multiple functions. Demonstrated ability to interpret and document an extensive variety of business and technical processes.
