The Delivery Driver Team Leader will be responsible for the effective organisation and leading of the delivery team. The role will involve a mix of light driving duties and office based work. Hours of work will be 5.00am to 12.30 Monday to Saturday with flexibility. The R ole : Coach, lead and develop a team of 11 to 15 delivery drivers to support the highest standards of customer service. Ensure delivery on- time targets are met daily by the team. Schedule and roster delivery team weekly. Work closely with the Sales Team to deliver effective routing. Ensure compliance of Department of Transportation standards. Ensure vehicles are maintained in good working order. Conduct team meetings and briefings on a regular basis. The successful candidate must have: 2 years team leading and van driving experience in a similar-type role. Strong organisational skills and interpersonal skills. A Customer-service focused, friendly disposition. Clean full B driver licence with no penalty points. Evidence of 5 year no claim bonus required. Fluent written and verbal English.
