A Project Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Co Limerick based Electronics manufacturing client. Please contact Diarmuid Buckley for full details. THE ROLE: * Total responsibility for the project in terms of achievement of objectives (quality / time / cost) and customer satisfaction. * Defines the measures / goals to be achieved - in agreement with the overall global project manager and co- ordinates them locally. * Quality / customer satisfaction (including co-ordination of Customer visits. * Tracks and controls the status of the project and escalates if necessary to the local management and to the overall project manager. * Supports the overall project manager in customer communications. * Leads the local project team: (SE and extended local cross functional team. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree or equivalent in Production, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electronic Engineering (Level 8 on NFQ. * Minimum 5 years experience in high Volume Electronic Manufacturing with preference in the role of NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineering. * Experience in Project Management is essential. Experience in the area of product cost analysis and production / quality planning is an advantage. * Knowledge of Electronic, Mechanical and Mechatronic Assembly and Test Processes are essential. * Formal Project Management qualification would be an advantage.
