We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Level Helpdesk Support Engineer Fluent in French to join a rapidly expanding global organisation with it`s EMEA hub based in Limerick. This position will be responsible for providing exemplary frontline support to the client`s end users, assisting with remote management of client devices (OS X and iOS) and identifying knowledge content ideas and materials. The goal of this service is to provide exceptional end user support beyond what people have come to typically expect from IT Departments. Responsibilities of Senior Level Helpdesk Support Enginer Fluent in French: Provide exceptional technical support to our client`s end users via web chat, phone, email and forum interaction. Focus on first contact issue resolution with follow up as needed. Perform localization/international functionality testing on Apple software and hardware devices. Assist in the administration of client devices using JAMF Casper Suite. Participate in the compatibility testing and change management process for new and existing versions of macOS. Clearly document troubleshooting steps and relevant interaction details to ensure effective problem tracking and consistent customer support. Contribute to the creation of process documentation, training materials and knowledge base articles for end users. Requirements: Fluent French and English language skills. Knowledge of Apple hardware and software (iOS and macOS. Ideally educated to Degree level and min 1year relevant experience supporting macOS and iOS devices or without degree min 3years relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of 3 or more key technology areas to include, Networking, Directory services, File sharing protocols, Web services. Microsoft or Linux server experience. Strong understanding of troubleshooting theory, working from least to most invasive when resolving issues. Strong communication skills, with an ability to adapt communication between a highly technical and non-technical audience. Flexible with regards to working hours.
