Our client, a household name is seeking a HGV Driver and a Rigid Driver to join their expanding team. We are looking for these roles on a temporary and permanent basis. We are offering a very competitive salary and benefits. You must have a full clean licence and native level English. Responsibilities: Daily Inspection. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks as per daily inspection sheet. Document any requirements for maintenance or repairs in the daily inspection sheet. Safe Driving for Work. Comply with the Road Traffic Act at all times. Ensure all hazard beacons are on at all times. Take breaks as per schedule. Concentrate on the road at all times while driving. In event of breakdowns or repairs, if possible park the truck in a safe location. Health and Safety. Wearing of assigned Personal Protection Equipment and Clothing. Ensure trucks and equipment are safely and securely stored. Ensure the helper is in view at all times. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Highlight to Management any difficulties in relation to servicing a customer. Practice workplace safety. Obey site rules on customer sites and third party facilities.
