Description

Responsibilities. • Ensure continuity of supply of critical materials and services. • Vendor schedule materials to meet plant operational requirements, while ensuring efficient and effective purchasing and inventory practices. • Preparation of Purchasing Plans for supplies and services. • Assisting in the development and maintenance of Materials Plans. • Maintain Business Planning and Control systems applications and processes. • Development and maintenance of policies and procedures for the Purchasing area. • Ensure compliance with GMP’s and Business Compliance policies. Education and experience. • 3rd level degree required for this role. • At least 2 years’ experience in a supply chain or purchasing environment. • Experience in Purchasing in a pharmaceutical environment or in a process industry. • Experience with vendor management and negotiation. • Results and performance driven.
