Qualified Accountantscoming from a financial services/Big 4/Fund Accounting background are required for permanent positions based in Limerick city. Will also consider fully and part qualified accountants for other positions due to company growth. Main fuction. Facilitate the preparation and coordination of financial statements reporting in compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards. Prepare and review financial highlights disclosures, including calculation of total returns, preparation of per share tables, expense ratio analysis, etc. Ensure accuracy of footnote disclosures via review of legal documents governing the fund. Present to or exchange information internally, with clients and with auditors. Coordinate year-end financial statements process. Experience. Qualified Accountant. Minimum 2 years of asset management accounting experience in an Audit Firm, Hedge Fund, Hedge Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund or other financial institutions. ( 5 years plus for senior roles.
