What you need to know. You will work as a Senior Analyst - Fee Governance for our client, an Investment Bank company in Limerick .Our client is one of the world’s leading financial institutions. This is a great opportunity to become part of the team. The Senior Analyst, Fee Governance reports into the Manager, Fee Governance. The role is responsible for ensuring the design and operational effectiveness of controls operating globally throughout all the Fee teams in Finance. This is a 6 month job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Emphasis on continuous enhancement of processes, controls and documentation. Performance of SOX, internal and external audits, including planning and liaising with Internal and External Audit, BAU teams and support to the Business. Review of account ownership and monitoring all reconciliations for Fees. Review of the control documentation, including risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) and SOX. Working closely with all teams to ensure their correct inputs into fee billing processes. Build and maintain service level descriptions (SLDs) with all areas of the business. Build and measure KPI to ensure that SLDs are met. Provide extensive management information (KPIs, debtors, accrual analysis) to a variety of stakeholders, including senior management of each of the relevant business areas. Liaise with Internal and External Audit for all audits and queries arising. Provide guidance on Governance related queries eg: compliance breaches, legal agreements etc. Performance of the RCSA, EUC review, BCP etc. Provide a significant contribution to the various projects and initiatives in the team. What are we looking for? A background in Financial Services (at least 3 years) (Insurance, banking etc.), preferably within a Fee Billing or a control function. Experience within a control environment/ function of any segment other than Financial Services (i.e. Governance, Risk, Compliance etc.) Third Level Qualification ideally in the area of Risk, Project Management or Accountancy. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Proactive style to implement new processes and the ability to deal with change. Strong numerical and reporting skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. A strong background in risk, control and oversight of processes. Very strong attention to detail with emphasis on adhering to strict controls. Experience of custodian banks, ideally in fee billing or in a finance function. The ability to work effectively with remote teams. Very good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst prioritising accordingly. Proactive and comfortable dealing with virtual meetings and senior partners. Analytical with an ability to interpret information quickly.
