A Snr Buyer/Buyer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mid-west based multinational client for a 12 month contract. Top class Mid-West multinational employer seeks a high calibre tactical buyer for a major manufacturing facility for a 12 month contract. THE ROLE: * Ensure continuity of supply of critical materials and services. * Vendor schedule materials to meet plant operational requirements, while ensuring efficient and effective purchasing and inventory practices. * Preparation of Purchasing Plans for supplies and services. * Assisting in the development and maintenance of Materials Plans. * Maintain Business Planning and Control systems applications and processes. * Development and maintenance of policies and procedures for the Purchasing area. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 4 years experience in a supply chain management or tactical procurement role. * Experience in Purchasing in a multinational environment in a manufacturing or process industry. * Good ERP experience essential.
