A Medical Registrar vacancy with our client, a public teaching hospital with links to top Irish Universities. This hospital can offer doctors a wide range of experience. The facilities include acute inpatient services and extensive outpatient, theatre and day services. This role offers a great opportunity to work in the Irish Healthcare system. The registrar is responsible for providing front-line and hands-on care for a wide variety of patients within the hospital setting. Not only does the registrar provide lifesaving medical care, they are also responsible for guiding and training the junior staff (SHO's). On-call duties are also required for registrars which allow the individual to take full responsibility and gain valuable experience in their speciality. Essential Requirements: IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC. Relevant qualifications. 5 years' relevant experience. IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 7.0. Irish or UK experience desirable. Experience and availability for on-call duties. In order to practice medicine in Ireland, it is necessary to be registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
