A Technical Manager is required on a PERMANENT basis by CareerWise Recruitment for our client; a Limerick-based Cooked Meat Manufacturing Company. THE ROLE: * Maintaining the quality management system. * Preparing for and leading all external audits i.e.. BRC, Bord Bia, DAFM, Retail and other customer audits. * HACCP team leader. * Management of site internal audits system. * Supplier approval and monitoring. * Maintaining all raw materials specifications and finished product specifications. * Completing on-line customer specifications e.g. Aldi, Lidl, Dunnes. * Completing all required customer paperwork. * Maintaining NPD paperwork and involvement in factory trials. * Approval of finished product artwork to ensure FIR compliance. * Customer complaint investigation. * Micro Shelf-life Testing. REQUIREMENTS: * Food science degree is preferable. * 5 + years' experience in a similar position. * Cooked Meats (Ready to Eat) experience in a High-Risk environment. * HACCP and retail specification / artwork experience.
